The SMP (or Survival) server is the main and most popular server on Novylen.

Joining SMP

Type /queue smp, /smp or /q to join the SMP. New players join in at 15spawn, the latest spawnpoint as of March 2026 (teleport to 15spawn by using /spawn or /dial spawn if near a stargate).

Looking for dials to visit

The easiest way to find dials to visit is by asking someone currently online, checking out the Tourism page, or visiting Novymap (the unofficial Novylen webmap for finding dials and railways).

Some of the main locations new players should visit are:

/dial 1spawn - The original spawnpoint of Novylen

/dial Ironside - The big city
