Empire Rose is a town founded by Reini92. Most structures were built by Reini92, included the cathedral, which is commonly regarded as Novylen's first mega-build. There are a few player houses scattered around the area, however they are all unlabeled.

History

On September 8^th, 2010, the cathedral was griefed, likely by jackass266. The grief would be rolled back by rbos the next morning.

The grand opening for the cathedral would be hosted on October 25^th, 2010. Screenshots were posted to the forums, however they are all now considered lost media. Many players contributed to the construction of the cathedral including: rbos, Davste, Jojinator97, Nicknero1405, MrEpicLegendzz, Peachy565, iDVJ, Bennydangles, Adasyd, Bjornfuglestad, Glennandre, and Rakkaka. rbos contributed by terraforming mountains and surrounding terrain, as well as deleting a castle near the cathedral. Davste, Nicknero1405, MrEpicLegendzz, iDVJ, Bjornfuglestad, Adasyd, and Bennydangles helped with construction. Bennydangles and Jojinator97 contributed with terraforming.

Impact

Empire Rose would become influential on the server's identity, with the rose (now poppy) featured in the cathedral inspiring the server's logo.
