Update 15-Sep: You might be interested in how to build the new Advanced Flight Field. Click through for more information.
Basics of Runecraft
Runecraft is a plugin that has no /commands. Instead, all mechanics involve building structures in game with real blocks. In order to use many Runecraft mechanics, you must first obtain Runic Energy. Runic Energy is created by burning your items, or throwing them into lava. It can also be created using the Aether Chest rune (see below). Different items generate different amounts of Runic Energy. You can store up to 4 million runic energy at a given time. It does not expire when you log off.
Runecraft structures are built with three different types of blocks:
- Tier Blocks (aka Ink Blocks): These are the main blocks used to construct the runecraft structures (runes). Different blocks may have different tiers, meaning they give more or less power to your rune (usually). For more information on tiers and energy, see here. Typically, your rune may not mix and match different tier blocks. Tier 0 blocks are often treated like air, though not always, by the plugin.
- Structure Blocks: These are very specific blocks that are needed to create a rune. They may also double as tier blocks or key blocks.
- Optional Tier Blocks (aka Key Blocks): These are blocks you choose to 'personalise' your rune. They may also double as tier or structure blocks.

Waypoint:
The waypoint uses Tier 1 blocks and higher. Once built, if a unique signature block pattern is used, it can be activated with a right click. Teleporters can then link to this waypoint until it is destroyed.

Power Tool
Enchants your pickaxe to mine a 3x3x# area. # can be changed by right-clicking with the tool in your on-hand. The maximum # is determined by the tier. Works on all regular tools ie sword, pickaxe, and axe. Can be disabled by breaking blocks while shift clicking. Will only break blocks of the type that you mine. Other enchantments eg. autosmelt and silk touch are respected by this rune. Consumes the rune when used. Use of a power tool drains runic energy.

Dispel:
Removes runic enchantments from items. Tier 1 can be used for a single enchantment. Tier 2+ can be used for multiple enchantments. Tier3+ can be used for all items in your inventory. Opens a GUI so you can be sure not to remove the wrong enchantment bu accident.
