<div>Map art is a form of art created using by utilizing how Minecraft's map work. Maps use a 128x128 area in Minecraft's world to display an image on map item from a top-down prespective. By placing blocks in this area, like pixels in an image, players are able to create low resolution images on the map item. They can then be placed in item frames for display like regular images. Minecraft uses a custom color palette for each block on the map. There are 61 colors for flat or 2D maparts, and 201 colors for valley or 3D maparts. Each block is affected by blocks placed above or below it from north to south allowing for more colors in valleyed or 3D maparts. This can be helpful for very detailed images where as 2D maps are good for cartoons, anime, and memes often times.<br />

With the update to 1.19, we have made some changes to server plugins: infiniteannoucements, ChestSort and DualWield have all been disabled, and several changes have been made to Runecraft. |Notes= Written by distractonator1:<br> Cobbletropolis was once but a small shack near the spawn, created by jibber14 and erfdsxcbg who had recently left novylen.net in hopes to persue the american dream. little did they know they were going on the biggest building project of the surrounding area. one day when erfdsxcbg was derping around the shire an idea poped into his hollow mind he was going to build a colleseum. the colleseum was a humble project untill the team was joined by distractionator1 who taught them to never give up, turn around and desert the colleseum. After 2 to 3 weeks of intense mineing and cocaine, the colleseum was complete. after its completion everyone went to space for 3 months. briefly after this point distractonator1 embarked on an epic quest to build a roof for the colleseum. after the roof was complete cobbletropolis had welcomed a new member into its walls, a younge upstart from a rough naibourhood named AbusiveChue (becouse he was beaten by his father.) With the help of AbusveChu distractonator1 built a chineese temple to honour AbusiveChus asian'ness. the everyone came back from hell and built a tree roughly the height of the colleseum. but this tree was soo horrible and putrid that distractonator1 quickly removed it from existance. it was after this point that distractonator1 got the inspiration to build his favorite tower, isengard. with the brief assistance of erfdsxcbg, jibber14 and abusivechu isengard was on its way to becoming the most epicist tower in all of the novylens, infact isengard was soo epic that it had to be lowerd 20 blocks(tru story). After isengard was complete the brave rebels split up to create their own projects, in this time jibber erfdsxcbg and distractonator built their homes,(erfdsxcbg house is still under construction) another notable project created in this time period is the maze created on the inside of the colleseum, that is rumoured to be haunted by Herobrian. durring this time cobbletropolis also earend the name cobbletropolis. At this time distractonator1got the inspiration to build the most epic tower of all time, the Tower of Babelon is the next construction project that the intepid builders are going to undertake. The tower of babel is going to be101 X 101 and is going to go higher then then the rent in new yourk. <br />

After being contacted by Boovler, they would create a house in Beta Town. With the help of Char_Custom, they would go on a search for 0spawn, which was only rumored by the playerbase to exist. They would discover 0spawn on December 27<sup>th</sup>, 2023 and make a post on the Discord.<br />

On top of the house, they would build a recreation of their first house from the Pocket Edition of Minecraft in 2011. In January of 2024, Ellerian (still using the JayTale account) would create an extension of Beta Town, known as Beta Avenue. This would be a small beta-themed town with a few houses, shops, and a large wool farm. Within the same month, they would start uploading to a YouTube channel, where they would tour popular Novylen locations, such as [[Olympus]] and [[Empire Rose]]. Through this channel, they would get in contact with YouTuber, Saplow.<br />

On January 12<sup>th</sup>, 2024, Ellerian would contact Saplow about a video idea, where Saplow returns to Novylen after two years and tours newer locations. The stream would air on February 5<sup>th</sup>, 2024. <br />

This channel would eventually be deleted after long inactivity, but on October 8<sup>th</sup>, 2025, the history video would be reuploaded to a new channel named, "CaptainCatter Gaming," where it would outperform the old channel in viewership.<br />
