NovyXTreme (NXT) is a custom-made plugin for Novylen, developed by Dograffe. It allows players to create obsidian portals that can teleport them across long distances. NXT was inspired by similar Bukkit plugins like Wormhole X-Treme by Samiko. NXT is currently updated for Minecraft Java Edition 1.19.2.

Commands:

  • /dial <gatename> - Connects a portal you have activated to another existing portal.
  • /nxgo <gatename> - Instantly teleports you to an existing portal. Donator perk only.
  • /nxcomplete <gatename> - Creates a new portal with the specified gate name. The name is case-sensitive and must not already exist somewhere on the map.
  • /nxremove <gatename> - Removes an existing portal that you own.
  • /nxlist - Lists all your portals in chat.

Mechanics:

Making a Gate:

To begin, build the following structure, vertically.

Obsidian Obsidian Obsidian
Obsidian Obsidian
Obsidian Obsidian
Obsidian Obsidian
Obsidian Obsidian
Obsidian Obsidian
Obsidian Obsidian Obsidian

Then, in front of this structure, leaving a two-block gap, build a 2-block-high obsidian pillar with a lever on its front-top-side. It should be built on the ground, the 6'th block across the structure.
If this is confusing, see the example at /spawn.

Using a Gate

To use any gate, flick the lever and then type /dial <gatename>. If the gate you are targetting exists, the portal should fill with Nether Portal Blocks. You can move through these blocks to travel to the destination gate.
Breaking any block in the stargate structure that you, or any other player, built earlier will destroy the gate.
